Marco is a geotechnical engineer with over 25 years of experience in the profession. Since graduating in 1986, Marco has worked for large geotechnical consulting companies in New Zealand and Australia. He worked as project geotechnical engineer in England between 1989 and 1996 on large highway schemes throughout Kent. From 1996, Marco joined a consulting company in Auckland and in 2000 founded the engineering consultancy Soil Engineering, which introduced new site investigation equipment and techniques from Europe. He is currently Principal of Geoconsult.
Marco has a wide range of experience in all aspects of geotechnical engineering, but his specialities are earthworks, ground stability and building foundations.
